"Now you know why was I silent for 10 years"

This post is a part of   Write Over the Weekend , an initiative for  Indian Bloggers   by BlogAdda “Ladies and gentlemen, you all are welcome for the first ever cabinet meeting of our government. I welcome you open-heartedly for giving me the opportunity to run this country. The way I am looking at this, we are for sure going to change the system of our nation. We would burn midnight oil and let ourselves to be immersed into public welfare and governance. Let’s formulate policies which are in the benefit of the people.” Interrupting the speaker said a gentleman who was self-proclaimed messiah of ‘minorities’, “No, this is incorrect, wrong, unparlimentary, unconstitutional and anti-minority. What you are talking about is rubbish. I want you to give me social welfare schemes for minorities. You must give them free houses, free ration, free cycles, free laptops, free jobs, free wife and free children.” “Sir, free wife and children? Ehh, you are inhuman!! You

The Bankster : Book Review

“When it comes to life or death, it’s surprising how fear gets the better of everyone” says Ravi Subramaniam in his riveting new book TheBankster . Such a line in the book is sure to make you realize the simple fact of life, thus giving a practical impetus to fiction. I was introduced (luckily) by Blogadda to Ravi Subramanian’s prolific and meticulous writing through this book. I must say, being a book-selective avid reader, I have developed this inane inclination towards being critical about every line, scene, character and the climax. Before I actually reflect my analysis, I would love to shoot my sincere apologies for not having read his previous books; which I will once I end this post. The most important thing in these kinds of fictions is the amount of knowledge you have in the particular domain, or, it may include the rigorous research involved in presenting a set of three things: imagination carved by facts, plausibility and the most important of all, essence of

" Ugly Truth "

" Ugly Truth"       There have been a lot of talks going around the English football about the recent accusation made by Chelsea FC towards the match referee for using “Inappropriate language” in the high profile league match between the two premier league heavy weights. The matches between Chelsea and Manchester United in the past have been the perfect indicators of the kind of threat they pose to each other in the pursuit to claim supremacy in the Premier League. And the match on Sunday could not have been poised any better to live up to its high expectations until ... the 68 th minute.       The players, spectators, audiences throughout the globe have high expectations from the officials and match referees in the game, especially in one of the topmost leagues in the world. Most of the times they stand up to them successfully, and many a times they don’t. Understandably they are only humans and are bound to make mistakes, which in the game of football mean

Arvind Kejriwal!! omg!! A crus(h)ader !!

This article was first published HERE by me under the pseudo-name The Delusional Reporter I am surprised and confounded- who is the real aam-admi crusader? The super dynastic-cum-anarchist-cum-apparently dictator UPA or the expose master who has gained proficiency in measuring India’s pathetic condition with only one yardstick called ‘corruption’ and also an elite gentleman who attributes cleansing of India to exposing individuals instead of holding the policies culpable, Mr. Arvind Kejriwal. A sycophant like me (obviously to Congress) is worried, not because our government is failing to retain its already diminished credibility, but it is giving rise to, intentionally though, to a stooge who thinks India is bound to improve only if one particular party (No prize for guessing) is voted to power can t then dole out an all inclusive panacea which will be fruitful in bringing India to path of glory. Sorry!! But my delusion proscribes me from buying it. I am not like my peers w

Celebration- A point of discussion

This post has been published by me as a part of the Blog-a-Ton 33 ; the thirty-third edition of the online marathon of Bloggers; where we decide and we write. To be part of the next edition, visit and start following Blog-a-Ton . The theme for the month is 'Celebrations' “Everybody tells us to celebrate little-little moments in our life, but can we?” “Give me one reason why can’t we” was the reply followed by a sarcastic smile. “What according to you are those little moments that qualify for celebrations: promotion news, high score in exams, attraction of a girl, transition from attraction to love, buying a house, unleashing a splendid shopping spree, birth anniversary of someone-when we all know, by and large, that the same someone is inching close to the penultimate stage of his life-cycle, wedding anniversary- where the two genders celebrate of having lived through one more year of relentless compromising and palpable explanations to each othe
